For diabetes and prediabetes

Blood glucose and HbA1c, in one steady view.

Steadion reads your glucose from Apple Health (a continuous glucose monitor included), works out your time in range, and keeps your HbA1c and the daily habits behind them together in one place.

Coming soon to the App Store

For iPhone, iOS 17 or later

Steadion's Dashboard: a blood glucose reading of 94 mg/dL marked in range, 93% time in range over 14 days, and an HbA1c progress card with an estimate from recent glucose.

What you get

Glucose leads. Everything else backs it up.

Trends

See the whole picture, day by day

Glucose charts come first, with your target range shaded, and you can scrub through them day by day. Switch to weight, activity, sleep, resting heart rate or cardio fitness to see what sits alongside your numbers.

Steadion's Trends screen: a seven-day blood glucose chart with the target range shaded green and high readings marked in red.

Goals

Targets you set, in the units you use

Set your glucose and HbA1c targets and every nudge threshold. Starting points for the diabetic and prediabetic ranges follow ADA-style guidance, and you can change all of them. Switch between mg/dL and mmol/L any time.

Steadion's Goals screen: an HbA1c target of 5.6, a glucose unit setting of mg/dL, and fasting and post-meal glucose targets.

Log

Log a reading in seconds, or photograph your meter

Log a fingerstick by hand (fasting, post-meal or random) and it saves to Apple Health. Or point your camera at your meter, or share a photo to Steadion from Photos. It reads the display on your device, and you confirm the number before anything is saved.

Also built in

Apple Health and CGM

Reads blood glucose from every Apple Health source, including a continuous glucose monitor if you use one.

HbA1c, logged and estimated

Log lab results and watch progress toward your goal. Between labs, an estimate from recent glucose (GMI) is shown, clearly marked as not a lab result.

Habits, charted alongside

Weight, activity, sleep, resting heart rate and cardio fitness sit next to your glucose and HbA1c.

Activity rings

Your Apple Activity rings sit right on the Dashboard, beside the numbers that matter most.

High-glucose nudges

A nudge when your glucose has been running high, in your own units and at thresholds you choose.

Sources you can check

Targets and estimates cite the research and guidelines behind them, like the ADA Standards of Care.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need a continuous glucose monitor?

No. Steadion reads blood glucose from Apple Health, so a CGM works if you use one. You can also log fingerstick readings by hand, or photograph your meter and let Steadion read the number off it.

Is Steadion medical advice?

No. Steadion is an informational tool, not a medical device, and it isn't a substitute for professional medical advice. Talk to your doctor about your glucose, HbA1c, and any health decisions. The full note is at the bottom of this page.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. HbA1c results and goals sync through your own private iCloud account, and glucose readings you log are saved to Apple Health. Steadion has no servers and no account system.

Which iPhones does it run on?

Steadion is iPhone-only and needs iOS 17 or later.
